Moscow has intensified assaults on electrical systems over recent weeks, while the country's government has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Moscow.

Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were working to restore power.

A series of attacks struck power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the attacks on the city have been hospitalized, per statements from city authorities.
